Frequently Asked Questions
Usually, your employer, clinic, or testing administrator will send you an order confirmation. Be sure to bring this so we can perform the correct test.
You must bring a valid photo ID—this can be a driver’s license, state-issued ID, or passport. If you received a confirmation email or letter, make sure it’s forwarded to us or printed out and brought with you. This helps us identify exactly what type of screening you're scheduled for.
If you were given a Chain of Custody form, it’s essential you bring that as well. Also, arrive ready to provide a sample—especially for urine tests, a full bladder is important.
For hair tests, do not shave your head before the appointment; doing so can interfere with the test process and may disqualify the sample.
DOT drug tests are typically required for anyone who holds a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or works in a safety-sensitive role, such as transportation, aviation, or certain federal positions.
If you're unsure, check the documents or instructions provided by your employer or ordering agency—they should clearly indicate whether DOT testing is required. If that’s unclear, feel free to reach out to us for clarification before your appointment.
